How to EASY Keep Glue Tip Clog Free (video)

Hi All-
Amy here, with a Two Minute Video that will save you tons of time (and frustration) in the long run!

ScraPerfect's no-clog caps are so brilliant, and should be cleaned periodically to keep them clear*.  This BRILLIANT little trick will help delay (or eliminate) the need for regular deep cleaning!

I used ScraPerfect's Best Cleaner Ever™ and an empty bottle
from the pack os tiny bottles of embellishments (Hot Buys, while supplies last!).

This tip might help when using a needle to clear clogs if you didn't use a No-Clog Writing Cap.

*Complete cleaning instructions for the NO-clog caps are available in the Cap FAQ and with a video.

How To Make A Beautiful Card With A Stunning Stencil

Charity here with a beautiful card that uses a stunning stencil to deliver delight.
The card base, sentiment, and large die-cut are from the same sheet of 12x12 cardstock. This trick simplifies the design and lets me spend more time on the background and layering.
Parts and Pieces:
Card base 4x6"
Patterned Paper Card Front: 3 ¾ X 5 ¾"
Dye Ink and Applicator
30” RicRak
Craft Foam
Die-cut Doily, Teddy Bear, and Sentiment
Best Glue Ever
No-Clog Writing Cap
Step 1:Dab ink through stencil placed over card front.
Step 2:Adhere doily to card front, center. When layering a card I use ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever at the center but not around the edges. As it dries the doily edges will lift off the card front. This keeps the card from looking too flat and pressed together.
Step 3:Wrap ricrak around card front, tie at center, keeping knot low profile for layering over.
Step 4:Using Best Glue Ever and craft foam build a bridge on the back of the die-cut to span the knot. Leave to dry.
Step 5:Adhere die-cut to card front, then card front to blank.
Step 6:Use a No-Clog Writing Cap to adhere sentiment to card front.
The pale blues, grays, and silver tones of this card had me planning to send it off to a new mother. My daughter had other ideas. She swooped my pretty blue and silver card up and just HAD to have it to give to a teacher. I deemed that a worthy cause and off she went with her prize.

How To Add Foil To A Diecut

Hey there!
Lisa back today to share a fun way to jazz up your diecuts.
I had these hearts laying on my desk, there are lots of them! I figured I would get some of them used up by adding some Transfer Foil to them. Here is my layout:

Here are some white cardstock hearts left over from a previous project:

I added some of the Best Glue Ever with a paint brush:

I left them dry until the glue was clear:

I placed a sheet of the Transfer Foil over some of the hearts and used my pointer finger to rub the foil:

I pulled the foil sheet off. Now, I know I didn't get complete coverage, but that isn't what I was going for. You see, I used textured cardstock so I would get the distressed look:

Here are my beautiful hearts:

I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch to remove any sticky residue from the glue:

Finally, I added a small amount of glue under each heart:

I added a hand stitched circle over the hearts:

Don't you just love those hearts? I do!

I added another heart to my cluster at the bottom:

Next time you are looking to jazz something up, reach for the Transfer Foils and the Best Glue Ever!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

How To Break Up With Glitter Mess

Hello there,
welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.
Michelle here today, to share some useful tips on
how to "Break Up" with glitter mess.

As crafters, we all have a love/hate relationship with glitter.
We love the impact glitter has on our projects, but hate the mess it leaves behind.

How did I get rid of that unwanted mess?
I reach for ScraPerfect's Perfect Crafting Pouch
& the Best Cleaner Ever!

Recently I had purchased a new crafting mat, one that handles wet mediums like ink, paint, even glue. But this past week, I learned glitter is not it's friend. I first wiped and wiped, each time finding the glitter left behind, and sticking to the mat.

So I pulled out my Perfect Crafting Pouch, and lightly tapped an even dusting over the glittered area's.

Once I had covered those area's, I used a soft bristled paint brush to "dust" off the glitter.
It worked AMAZING!

For final clean up I used a wet wipe, and as you see in the photo below, very litter glitter was left behind after using the Perfect Crafting Pouch.

With the Perfect Crafting Pouch working so well with the mat, I decided to use it on my glitter covered bead tray too.
Following the same technique I used on the mat, it worked like a charm.
However, I did get get some glue & glitter on the tray.

No problem!
I just grabbed ScraPerfect's Best Cleaner Ever, added a couple
of squirts, worked it over the glue & glitter areas, wiped clean with a wet wipe.
It actually looks brand new!

So if you are looking to "Break Up" with your glitter messes,
get the Perfect Crafting Pouch & Best Cleaner Ever
from ScraPerfect, and let it do the work for ya!

How to Make a Basketball Sports Scrapbook Layout!

Good morning crafter's Penny here to show you how to make this cute basketball sports layout I made for my grandson. Yes that is him getting "instructions" from the coach.

This was a super easy layout, with just some matching pattern paper, some bling dots (yes you can add bling dots to boy's layouts, plus they look like tiny basketballs) a few stars, and a store bought "Basketball" title that I cut from a sheet of sports themed pattern paper, and a few other goodies.

Here is a close up of the bling dots, washi tape, a couple of pop up sticker, and a hand cut banner flag. To glue all these things in place I used the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect.  This glue is fantastic for paper, fabric, plastic, chipboard, metal, etc..etc.. It works great.

Want to know more about this glue check out this Video.

Again here is my fun sports themed layout, I hope you had fun today, and till next time Happy Scrapping. Love Penny

Terrific Twinchie Tutorial

Linda here to share a Terrific Twinchie Tutorial. What are Twinchies? These are two inch miniature works of art that can be used in art projects or even traded.

Supplies used for the Terrific Twinchie Tutorial

Transforming ugly scrapbook paper is easier than you think. By applying scraps of paper on top of the ugly paper makes it become something new. Then going further and adding Tattered Angels Glam takes it further from the original design.

This new transformed paper because a base for Twinches. Adding digital images, Lace and trim completes the look.
