Create a most excellent and unusual box card!

Hi everyone! Leslie here, and I'm back on the blog today sharing a very cool box card. First order of business is to let you know that this post contains affiliate links. I created an unusual get well card featuring a bouquet of flowers in a mason jar! We all need get well cards in our stash, so let's get started!

I separated all the elements in the cut file and cut them with my Scan N Cut from a variety of colors of cardstock. I put the bouquet together first, adhering the pieces with Best Glue Ever with a No-Clog Writing Cap. Using the Gold 'n Pearls Wheels of Embellies I added a pearl to the center of the rose in the bouquet using Embellie Gellie. The Embellie Gellie is so amazing... just mold a small ball on the end of the stick and you have a wonderful pick-up tool that 'grabs' your small embellishment from your desk and releases onto your project. It's a fabulous product!

I hand-cut the acetate pieces and adhered the outer mason jar, lid and bottom pieces with Best Glue Ever. I thought I had clean hands while I was assembling this project but I guess I didn't because the acetate got a couple small areas of glue and several smudges on it. So, I put some Best Cleaner Ever on a Q-Tip and cleaned the glue spots, then I used my Perfect Cleaning Cloth to gently clean the front and back of each of the acetate pieces. Worked like a charm! I moved to the inside and adhered the stems to the inner mason jar acetate with Best Glue Ever, and then adhered the acetate in place. I finished the card with a stamped get well greeting and some twine.
