"It is 4:30 in the morning and I am desperately trying to finish a gift. I've been cursing myself for having every PERMANENT GLUE known to man but needing - and not having - a TEMPORARY ADHESIVE. I beg Google for help, and up pops your video. That's when I realized I'm experiencing a miracle: I HAVE BEST GLUE EVER! I grab it, watch your video, do a small jig thanking the crafting and YT gods and happily carry on with my project. YAHOO! Thank you so much for saving my creative tush! "

Vive la France Mixed Media Altered Box by Kim Fuller

Good morning ScraPerfect Fans! Kim F., here today with my next DT Project for ScraPerfect.
This time I have altered a box I got from my local dollar store.

Firstly, I covered the paper mache box with a good coat of DecoArt Media gesso.

I decoupaged a Paris themed napkin on the top of the box , then I painted
the sides of the box with some Prima Art Alchemy paints in two different colours of Pink. After that was dry, I added some white chalk paint over the top to match the colour of the napkin.

I used The Best Glue Ever to adhere down some texture, using some mica flakes, glitter glass and micro beads on various areas of the box.

Next, I again used the Best Glue Ever to add some wooden hearts. I have the No Clog Writing Cap on my glue which makes for easy and smooth coverage of the glue to all my embellishments.

I also added more of the glitter glass to the wooden hearts to add some extra sparkle.

I added several laces and trims from my stash around the box to give it a lovely shabby chic look.

To finish off the box I added a handmade flower, resin cherub and a small wicker heart to the side.

Once again, here is the finished box, just in time to put a Valentine surprise inside for some one special!

Please check out the ScraPerfect Store for the items I have used to create my project.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here!

Tracy here today with a fun Valentine's Day project. Every year it's a struggle to come up with a masculine Valentine's Day card for hubby. This year I thought why not try some mixed media for a change.

I started with a blank tan colored tag recycled from some packaging. I painted it with some white gesso and then started getting messy. I used a brick stencil and texture paste as a base layer and then before it dried I embedded some white cheesecloth in it. I then used my finger to apply some gelatos over the top.

Then I added a starburst stencil on top using more white texture paste. I glued a cut up small doily, a flourish die cut and a kiss me sticker using some of the Best Glue Ever to the tag. They were really small pieces and using the No Clog Writing Cap made it so easy to get just the right amount of glue on the tiny pieces.

I made a die cut heart out of white paper and then used some red Transfer Foil on it. It's so easy! Just add a thin layer of the Best Glue Ever and let it dry til it's clear and tacky. Then lay the foil on top of the glue and rub the foil with your finger to get it to adhere to the glue. Pull the foil off and you have a beautiful shiny embellishment. I wanted mine to look distressed so I didn't apply glue to the whole heart so some parts were left white and then added some gelato to those areas.

Next came some glittery little hearts. I punched out several hearts and covered them with some of the Best Glue Ever and then sprinkled red glitter over them. I pressed the glitter into the glue with my finger and let them dry.

I die cut the XOXO and glued everything onto the tag using more of the Best Glue Ever. It worked like a charm! I had such tiny pieces and a bumpy background but the Best Glue Ever worked great!

How to Make Beautiful Rhinestone Earrings

Good Morning ScraPerfect Friends! Chelsea here to share with you a lovely rhinestone covered bead for earrings, pendants, zipper pulls or any other creative project.  With my finished rhinestone covered beads I created a set of earrings using the Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellie.

Here are the supplies you will need :

Best Glue Ever
Embellie Gellie
Rhinestones
Soccer Ball Style Large Beads

I had some large black acrylic beads in my bead stash collection that looked a little drab and plain. Normally a person would grab their jewelry glue but it's full of toxins and fumes. I had never thought to use the BGE in a jewelry project before but wanted to give it a try.

To begin, I placed small dabs of glue everywhere that I wanted to attach a rhinestone too. Letting the glue dry clear and tacky.

Once the glue was tacky; which only took a few minutes, I used my Embellie Gellie to pick up each of the rhinestones to place them on the clear tacky glue spots.

*NOTE : I am working on a beading mat which is like a foam piece of fabric. I was completely impressed that even on a soft surfaces the Embellie Gellie still was able to grab on and lift up the rhinestones! I was even able to use the Embellie Gellie to flip over the upside down rhinestones - Quickly and easily.

This is what my new rhinestone covered beads looks like.

After turning my drab, plain beads into gorgeous rhinestone covered beads I decided to make them into a pair of earrings.  Here are the completed earrings. Fabulous for a night on the town!

Using The Best Glue Ever On A Canvas

Hey there Friends!
Lisa back to share a beautiful winter canvas I created using the Best Glue Ever.

I added Gesso to my canvas and then used blue acrylic paints and mists to add color to it. I gave the pine trees a coat of Gesso. Then added Liquitex Glass Beads in spots to look like snow. I sprayed the trees with a few different green mists and let dry. Finally, I went back over the Glass beads with white acrylic paint and topped that off with Stickles to mimic snow. I love all the texture this added!

For my title, I added a few layers of white acrylic paint to the words and then added some spatters of blues and silver mists:

I added some of the glass beads, mists, Stickles and Gesso to the pine cone clusters as well:

On the snowflakes, I added a few layers of white acrylic paint and then spattered them with silver and blue mists. I topped them off with some Stickles:

I used the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to adhere all the Creative Embellishments chipboard to this canvas. It works awesome on the mixed media!

Have you ever created a canvas? This was my first one. I love how it came out and will be making more!
Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

How to Make a Mini Tag Album

Hey there!  Robin here with another Design Team project for ScraPerfect.
IMG_0070 IMG_0077
The project was created using the Best Glue Ever and Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect.  First, I covered the entire book box with design paper.  Next, I started to add my embellishments using the embellie gellie.

After the box was complete, I cut card stock and design paper and adhered to both sides of each of the tags for the tag album.  Everything was adhered using the best glue ever.  These products were vital to my project.  Below are a couple of pictures of the finished product.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy this project!

BEST CLEANER EVER TO THE RESCUE!

Hello Creative Friends!
Welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.

Michelle here today to share an easy and very effective way to clean
your crafting tools, with out heavy scrubbing, fumes or skin irritating chemicals.

Have you ever heard of ScraPerfect's Best Cleaner Ever?
No? Well let me tell you all about it, and show you how I used it
to clean my favorite crafting scissors and even my bone folders.

In making a card the other day, I reached for one of my bone folders, and found my hand sticking to it. Hard telling how long the adhesive residue had been there.

So I grabbed my other bone folder, and sprayed them both with Best Cleaner Ever, worked it in to each bone folder's surface, let it sit a few moments, and wiped them with just a paper towel.

(please forgive the state of my nails, was in desperate need of a manicure 😏)

The smaller came clean instantly, the larger had some very hardened glue, and some paint on it, so I gave it a second run and let it sit a little longer, and aside from stains from years gone by, it effectively removed the glue and paint as well.

I also used it to clean the blades of my crafting scissors and handle,
and now it looks and feels like new!

I absolutely love this product.
It is so versatile, and safe too.

And there you have seen it, quick and effective clean up!

Now for some BIG news!
As amazing as the current formula is,
there is even a MORE AMAZING formula coming!
So hang on, it will be available in the ScraPerfect online store soon!
