How to Make a Beautiful Snowman Banner

Margie here todayto show you how to make a beautiful snowman banner. when I saw this stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design (AJVD) and their exclusive {die}signs dies, I knew what I wanted to create! Just LOVE how it turned out!! See that bow - perfect every time!! All of these materials were put together by ScraPefect products - the Best Glue Ever, the Embellie Gellie and the Perfect Crafting Pouch!

Let It Snow Banner by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Glittered Cardstock: Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock; Patterned Papers: Authentique Paper (Festive Collection); Ink: Ranger (Peeled Paint Distress Ink); Markers: Copics; Stamp and Exclusive Dies: A Jillian Vance Design (Winter Wishes Stamp Set, 3D{ie} Bow Die and Banner {die}tails Nested Die); Die: Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (S5-117 2012 Snowflake Pendant); Epoxy Sticker: Epiphany Crafts; Pearls: Want2Scraps; Adhesive and Tools: ScraPerfect (the Best Glue Ever, the Embellie Gellie and the Perfect Crafting Pouch) and We R Memory Keepers (Crop-A-Dile); Other: White Cardstock; Cereal Thin Chipboard; Silver Cord; Foam Tape
First, I cut/embossed all the die cuts with patterned papers from Authentique Paper Festive Collection and cereal thin chipboard.

I adhered the chipboard on both sides with the Best Glue Ever. I let the back paper (red) show in the front for a border/accent. Love that the glue doesn't wrinkle the paper! Then ink the edges for a finished look. Punched two holes on the top edge and threaded a silver cord to hang.

Next I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch on my white cardstock before stamping my image for a great impression, colored with markers. I accented with pearls, using my Embellie Gellie for easy placement!

It makes it SO easy to place small embellishments.

More use of my Embellie Gellie to place the pearls on the glitter paper snowflake :0)

Used the Best Glue Ever to create this wonderful bow die template from A Jillian Vance (exclusively manufactured from Spellbinders Paper Arts) and also adhered the Epoxy circle for its center. Here is another look of my banner on my Christmas tree. LOVE how it all came together!

Mixed Media Canvas for ScraPerfect by Kim Fuller

Good Morning friends, Kim F., here with my next DT Project for ScraPerfect.  I have created a mixed media canvas this time, with lots of layering in the background and some distressed paper I made as well.

I used the Best Glue Ever for glueing down all of my project. It works so well for paper, chipboard and fabric too.

Don't forget to put your No Clog Writing Cap on your glue bottle, it makes the glue flow so well, and you only use a small amount for your projects!

Here are a couple of close ups of my project!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here!

How to Make Fun Shaped Cards

Margie here today to show you how to make a fun shaped card!

One of my most favorite way to create a card is a shaped one. There a few ways to create one. My fail-safe way is to cut two of the same shape (front & back), score the back piece and adhered in that area to the back of the front piece. The only problem I have is the intrigue cuts of some shapes like this Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur de Lis Rectangles Decorative Elements die.

With ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever, I resolved the problem. Its fine point tip and just a little bit of glue goes a LONG way!

If I have residue from the glue (tackiness), ScraPerfect has a solution for that too – Perfect Crafting Pouch! I tap on to the area and it’s ready to go.

Applying The Best Glue Ever to the rest of the card is easy and fast. You don’t need too much adhesive which means a great value. Did you know that it can also adhere other materials such as plastic? Buttons in this card were also adhered by The Best Glue Ever…no smell and no strings!

How to Scrapbook Your Winter Photos

Hi Suzie here I am wishing for snow and showing you how to scrapbooking some pictures from winters past.  Here's a layout featuring the Winterland Collection from Moxxie.

I customized the strip along the bottom a couple of ways.  Adding some sparkle was easy!  I used the Best Glue Ever to create tiny glue spots in the center of each of the snowflakes.  After just a minute they dried clear and tacky and ready to use!

Next,  I used Embellie Gellie to pickup each of the tiny, 3mm rhinestones...

Here it is in action

...and pop them into place on top of the glue spots!

I also created a zig zag edged strip along the bottom using Spellbinders Edgeabilities and Decorative Inserts.  Once the strip was cut and embossed, I sanded the paper to reveal the white paper in the core.  A quick swipe of the Perfect Cleaning Cloth removed all of the sanded  off bits.

Now it looks great!

I always carry ScraPerfect products in my tool kit because I use them all the time - they make scrapbooking easier!

Using The Best Glue Ever For Cut Files

Hey there scrappy friends!
Lisa here today with a fun layout to share.
I used the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap attached, a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and an old Crate Paper collection for this layout of  my daughter and her boyfriend at Vegan Fest in Madison:

I used watercolors to create my background and then added black mist spatters.
I love the combination of this glue with the cap, it is perfect for adding glue to small spaces like this cut file:

I backed the cut file with patterned papers. I added some layers of papers under my photo and popped it up with foam. I added some chipboard, stickers and a flair from the collection:

Because of the mixed media work on my background, I added the Best Glue Ever to adhere all the chipboard pieces:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

How to Print on Vellum Without Smudges the Easy Way

Good morning today I am going to show you how to print on vellum smudge free. This layout has been on my "to-do" list for ages. I wanted to add lengthy journaling and needed a place on the layout to easily add it. However,  I had already adhered my paper, photo and ribbon to the page before I really thought about how much room I'd need.

This layout has been on my "to-do" list for ages. I wanted to add lengthy journaling and needed a place on the layout to easily add it. However,  I had already adhered my paper, photo and ribbon to the page before I really thought about how much room I'd need.

Vellum to the answer! It's pretty transparent and you can run it through your ink jet printer.

To get the best results, rub the Perfect Crafting Pouch over your vellum before printing. You'll be rewarded with a smudge-free page!

And to adhere the vellum, I used the Best Glue Ever

After making thin zig-zag lines on the back of the vellum I used my finger to smooth it out all over the paper. It's totally invisible - you can't see it from the front! Check it out - the pattern of the Simple Stories paper shows through, but NOT the adhesive. Genius!

How to Make a Beautiful Winter Wall Hanging

Hi Suzie here earlier this month I showed you how to make a felt flower with the Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One die and now I want to show you how I used it on this beautiful winter wall hanging. .

I created this winter-themed canvas for a challenge and found the perfect spot for my creamy felt rose at the base of the Christmas Tree.  Of course I attached it with a large glue spot made with The Best Glue Ever – I think it is just lovely!

Once the glitter dried, I spread some of The Best Glue Ever on the back of the reindeer and all the chunky embellishments:  scrabble tiles, charms, snowflakes, metal letters, and the wooden frame.  After a few minutes, the glue turned into super sticky clear glue spots and it was easy to apply all those embellies to the canvas.

I also used tiny dots of the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect to adhere the transparencies.

I hid them behind the design elements on the transparencies and waited for them to become glue spots before adhering them to the canvas.  Worked great – you can’t see them at all!

The Best Glue Ever is so versatile!  It certainly makes it easy to put together a project like this when you only need to use one adhesive to attach everything from paper to transparencies to chunky metal charms!  I like to pack light when it comes to crops and that is why I always have a bottle of this stuff in my bag!
