How to Save Money On Scrapbooking Supplies

Good morning crafter's Penny here today to show you how to save some cash on your scrapbook supplies.

This is a pre-made scrapbook page I am making for my grandchildren. The note at the bottom is the title and it say's "This was the best part Grandma's House".  I am going to let them fill in the paper with what they liked best about visiting my house. There are lot's of way's I saved money on my supplies for this layout. One of the best way's was purchasing a glue that would let me glue many surfaces, without purchasing a different glue for each surface.

So I chose the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect. Here are the reason's I love this glue so much.

It will glue fabric with ease, and when you add the  No Clog Writing Cap even the smallest details in lace are no problem what so ever.

I can use this same glue on this sticker that is so old it has lost it's tackiness.  Other wise this sticker would have gone into the trash instead of on my layout.

By cutting this doily in half and using it in two different sections, I am getting two embellishments from one doily, and the glue tip makes gluing this a breeze.

Next I am using The Best Glue Ever on these plastic buttons as well. This will hold these buttons in place by it's self, but I later sewed them with some thread just to give them more pop.

Another way I saved money on this layout was by making my title on the page out of a sheet from a Smash book. This way I have a title and a journaling sheet as well for the same price. I hope you had fun playing along today and if you would like to learn more fun frugal tips click here. Till next time Happy Scrapping. Love Penny
