How to Make Homemade Planner Accessories, and a Coupon for Free shipping in the US, and a Product Giveaway

Welcome fellow crafter's Penny here today to show you my take on the ScraPerfect's Earth Day Planner Tag Challenge, and Prize Pack on the ScraPerfect Blog. Below you will see some of the planner tags I made from my scraps, and recycled packaging in honor of Earth Day.

And a few more because these are really additive when you start making them.

and some more! LOL

So to begin with I started with some of my scrapbook scraps,

and recycled packaging! I love putting this stuff to use instead of it sending it to landfills.

Next I needed some paperclips. I used both colored and plain office sliver. It's totally up to you.

Then I also found some packaging from some of my washi tape containers. They were the perfect size to fit on the bottom of my planner tags. I love being frugal, and Earth conscious as well.

Next I found a bunch of half used sticker sheets, and some stickers that were sent to me in the mail.

To hold all of this together I also used the Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.

To start making my planner tags, I cut my paper scraps into whatever size the scraps best fit into. Sometimes it meant 4 small tags, and other times it meant just one tag.  Whatever it took to make a tag or two depending on the size of scraps you have and the size of tags you need.

I also used some washi tape, and a bone folder to help my tag creases look good.

On some tags, I used a corner rounder punch just to give them a different shape.

Next I added my paper clip, leaving enough of the paper clip at the top so that you could add a bow, or attach it to your planner page, or even a scrapbook page with a brad. At this point I also added the Best Glue Ever around the edges of the tag, and on the paper clip. Then I folded the tage up and held it just a few seconds until the glue dried.

Here are my tags all glued together with the clips attached. The side that shows more of the paper clip is the back of the tag. Now all you have to do is decorate the front of the tag or just leave them blank if you like that look.  These tags can also be used as bookmakers for whatever you are reading at the time.

I started by adding just a strip of paper.

Then I added some quotes, and a wooden star.

Then I added some flowers, sequins, brads, and arrow, and some bling dots. Super easy!

Here are some photos of how I made another set.

Some flowers and a sticker strip, and some added bling. .

I also make some larger tags for my scrapbook pages the same way. All from recycled materials.

My granddaughter's Madison, and Olivia also helped me make some punched shapes into scrapbook flowers out of a lot of different materials. as well.

These tags were SO easy to make that Madison made these tags herself, and she is only 13, but I could see much younger children making these as well.
