How to Use Embellie Gellie In a December Daily

Hi everyone it is Erin Reed here today.  I have decided to embark on the grand task of a December Daily, and I have been keeping a weekly video on the progress.  Here is my week 4 and all the fun pages I made for this week.

Here is the video for the December Daily.

Each day in the book is all about something crafty I made, that someone gave me, or an event my family or I participated in.  I create the covers and pockets for each day and Scraperfect Best Glue Ever is amazing for helping keep this book and all the little bits and pieces together.

I also used the Embellie Gellie to help place all these little trees on this pocket page.  They were just too tiny to pick up and place by hand, but the tool made it a breeze, my daughter even used it!!

Here are a few more pages from the book this week.

Are you creating a December Daily this year?

How to add unique flair to your wedding layouts

Hey crafty friends.  I'm here to share with you today a simple wedding layout I recently made for my sister.  She's married two years just this week.
The layout was a from an old Scrapbook Generation kit, but I didn't use it as they suggested.  The papers were from Heidi Swapp,  and surprisingly some of it can still be found on Amazon.
This layout is part of a two page spread and the other side is rather busy.  It's all 4x4 blocks with photos and project life cards.  I chose then to keep this side simple to not overwhelm.
The "star of this side (well besides the photo) is the title of pretty much perfect..together.  It was a 4x4 card that I layered and added an old Scraptastic acrylic piece to to create a more wedding themed title. To attach the together I used my ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever as it's strong enough to hold the heavier acrylic piece. it's your turn.  Do you alter sketches or cards to fit what you're trying to scrap?  Share with me your tips/tricks and layout links!

How to Use the Best Glue Ever to Make a Cute Gingerbread Boy Spinner Card

Hello crafting friends...Kathy here from Create.365...This little cutie was a lot of fun to make and now that Christmas has come and gone, it's time to make thank you cards, right? I've been wanting to try a spinner card for a long time now and this digital stamp set from Power Poppy with the front and back sides of the gingerbread boy and girl was perfect for it!

I die cut the oval in both the white A2 card front and the red patterned paper.

I colored the ginger people up with my watercolor pencils and a blender pen then fussy cut them out.

I stamped the Thanks in red ink repeatedly inside the card so that it would show through the oval window and be seen behind the gingerbread boy.

Using clear fishing wire and the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap, I sandwiched the wire between the front and the back of the gingerbread boy and then secured the top and bottom of the wire between the red patterned paper layer and the white card front. I just laid a large acrylic stamping block on the top to hold everything in place while I waited for the glue to dry.

To get him to spin when the card is opened up, just twist him around until the wire is taunt and then hold him down when closing the card. When the card is next opened, he will spin like crazy while the wire un-twists itself.

Inside, I glued the front of the gingerbread girl so that she was peeking out of the bottom right corner.

I then glued the back of the girl to the back of the card for extra fun! (Just match up the front to the back and then trim off the parts that hang-over)

Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
That's is for me today...until next time, happy crafting with ScraPerfect ~

Add a thin layer of glue- I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever.
Let dry until it's clear and tacky.

Place a piece of foil on top- foil side up- I used ScraPerfect Transfer Foil.
Using your finger rub the foil over the cut file:

When you have finished, remove the foil sheet:

How to create a Faux Pottery Cup, Gold Gilding, with a Thrifty Tip

Hi everyone, Ginny here and today I've created a fun card using a fun technique to create a glassy look on a card. I wanted this coffee cup to look like beautiful Mexican pottery. This card is going to a lifelong friend,  we have sat at coffee and solved the world's problems for the last 33 years!.
I really wanted it to be special!

Here is the card and after if you are interested, the process :

I stamped my card on Heavenly White Cardstock  and colored with alcohol marker.  I added lots and lots of ink and then I added Twinkling H2O's and   Microbeads.

For the background, I used Designer Paper and beautiful  ScraPerfect Gold Leaf Transfer Foil.

I simply placed my stencil on the paper and rubbed a little of the Best Glue Ever over the cut out areas

I removed the stencil and waited about 15 minutes to allow the  BGE to set up and then simply lay the foil sheet over the paper and glue and gave it a going over with my brayer. 15 minutes later I pulled the sheet off and dusted with a paintbrush.

And here is where the photos didn't come out - sigh...

On the coffee cup body I used a matte finish coating and for the decoration, I used  liquid crystal  to give it that pottery look, the gold just gives it a rich look

Now here is a tip, you may know this already, but if you don't this will save you a lot of money!
I've been making my own glue dots for years, I can make them big or small !  Years ago I posted about this  So you know I know it works!

This is so simple
You simply just make little dots of glue and let them dry!
One bottle of the Best Glue ever will make thousands and thousands of dots.  So thrifty!

They will last a long long time!

I hope you give these techniques a try, they really are simple and will help you make a mailable WoW card!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Last Minute Holiday Hostess Gift Tag Made With ScraPerfect

Hello crafty Friends! Welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.
Michelle with you today, sharing a quick & easy gift tag perfect for that holiday party host or hostess gift.

Easily made with the following ScraPerfect products:
Best Glue Ever
Perfect Crafting Pouch
Embellie Gellie
No-Clog Writing Tip

Additional supplies used: ribbon, plastic rhinestones, ink, stamps, embossing pad, embossing powder, double sided squares, tags (blank & printed).

I first used the Perfect Crafting Pouch, over the lower part of the blank white
tag and over the printed tag, to have more crisp stamped images. The Perfect Crafting Pouch can also be used to remove any "sticky" residue, left behind by using to much glue.

I chose a Christmas greeting to add on the lower part of the white tag, and used a snowflake image stamp over the printed. I used archival ink for both.

I also used the blank white tag to make my crystal Christmas tree. I chose a larger crystal for the tree top, and a rectangle for the tree trunk.

I applied the Best Glue Ever using a No-Clog Writing Cap, allowing me to add precise dots and not "over use" the glue. Using Embellie Gellie, I easily added each crystal offsetting them from the row before.

*I also allowed a few moments after adding my dots of Best Glue Ever, for the glue to set a bit.

Once the crystals had set, I cut the tree and the Christmas greeting from the white tag. I heat set the glittery embossing powder around the edges of the printed tag & greeting. I added double sided squares to apply the tree & greeting to the printed tag.

My hostess gift of choice, a bottle of fine Scottish whiskey, simply "packaged" by wrapping with layered plain white tissue paper, tied with a silver satin bow, and tied the glitzy tag with a shimmering ribbon to the silver ribbon.

An easy way to present a simple gift with an easy to make tag, using innovative products from ScraPerfect.

Buttons, Spools. and The Best Glue Ever Make Trees!

Hi there, Kim here today to share a quick and easy ornament project for your Christmas tree. I saw this posted on Facebook by The Blogette and was inspired to add a twist and try them myself.  My ornaments would not have been nearly as sturdy or pretty if I hadn't used the Best Glue Ever from
ScraPerfect.  Here is how my ornaments turned out, hope you like them!

All you need to make these cuties are some buttons, string, and the amazing Best Glue Ever.  I used little wooden spools as the base for mine from my stash, but the originals were done with brown buttons.  So gather these supplies and you are ready to make your  own:

The first thing I did was to put some of the Best Glue Ever on the tops of my spools and let it dry for a few minutes while I sized the buttons I was going to use.  Then I added my first large button and put the adhesive on the next button.

NOTE:  Make sure you have a No Clog Writing Cap on your bottle of the Best Glue Ever for this project!  If you use too much adhesive, the buttons will slip off and get messy.  I also suggest waiting for a few minutes between adding each button until the Best Glue Ever gets tacky.  I made quite a few of these at the same time and staggered the gluing time so I wasn't sitting idle.

At this point, I just repeated the process and continued attaching more buttons, gradually getting smaller in size.

Once you are done building your tree, it is time to attach something to hang your ornament with.  I used seam binding and the Best Glue Ever on mine and then waited a few hours before adding a decorative button for the top of the tree.  I also decided to embellish my wooden spools by adding some trims around the middle.  I used sequin trim, braided trim, and crochet lace trim from my stash, but you can use anything on hand. I also added a tassel to hang down from the bottom of my wooden spool too.  I love how versatile these are since you can use whatever color buttons match your style or holiday decor.  Here is how they turned out again:

Thank you for stopping by today, I would love it if you would leave me a comment to let me know you were here.  Please check back for daily inspiration from the fabulous design team from
ScraPerfect!  I hope you and your families all have a wonderful holiday season!

Until the New Year,

Kim Lippincott
