Focus on the simplistic style of this month card challenge

Colleen here with March's card challenge.  This month just focus on the simplistic style of this card. All you need to do is create an Easter card and use some pink somewhere on the card.  Pretty easy challenge this month.

We have a prize of a small baggie of goodies from the Design Team plus FREE SHIPPING for one order atScraPerfect.com (Sorry. Free shipping is to US mailing address only; $5 discount to international addresses.) All you have to do is complete this challenge and complete the following items listed below and your name will be entered.

1. Become a Follower of this Blog;
2. This must be a new card;
3. Provide a link to your blog in the comments so we can see your beautiful card; and

4. Have your card posted by the end of the month.

This card is pretty easy to create and I will share with you all the steps you need to make it.

First pick out your papers and your choice but I embossed the top layer.

Next cut out four 2 1/2 inch circles.

Fold your paper in half and then turn and fold in half the other way.

Now fold in half again.  Your paper should look like this now.

Next you are going to take just the top layer and fold it from corner to corner, do this gently so you don't tear the paper.

I opened this up so you could see what your fold should look like.  Do this to the other side as well.  This is what it looks like when you have both sides folded.

Now turn your paper over and one side at a time fold in toward the middle fold.  This is what it will look like when you have it folded.

Now you have the hardest part done.  I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere all four circles down.  Bring all the points to the center and when you have them glued down you can add a brad or gem to the center to finish it off.

You could stop here and just add your title but you know I needed to add some flowers.  I used a die to cut out the flowers and vines.  I wanted a little texture to the flowers so I used an embossing folder.

Once I had the flowers and vines adhered down using  the Best Glue Ever I wanted to add a little bling to the center of the flowers so I used some Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest store and the Embellie Gellie to make it so easy to get the dew drops right where I wanted them to be.

I cut out the title using my Silhouette Cameo.

I hope you will join us this month in the card challenge and I can't wait to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by.
